How It Works

So that we can match your profile with potential dates we need you to complete a membership profile. Your full name and email address will never be revealed to potential dates. We suggest that you use your first name or a nickname in the "Nick Name" field when filling out your profile, to help keep your anonymity. The rest is as easy as answering a few questions. We have also left an area for you to describe yourself, your interests, likes, dislikes, and what qualities your are looking for in your future soul mate.

We encourage all of our members to include a recent picture, of themselves, in their profile. Don't worry if you don't have an computerized picture. To get your picture scanned yourself just visit your local photo finish store.  They will scan your picture onto a diskette, for you to upload into your profile. Just let the photo specialist know that you need the picture in a .GIF or .JPG format. Please, no pictures larger than "5x7".

Once you have filled out your profile it will be saved on our database to wait for other members searches. If your profile matches that of another members search criteria and they send you a message, you will be notified by email that you have a message waiting for you to pick up on our email retrieval system. Once you have retrieved your message you can view your senders profile and picture. You determine whether you'd be a good match or not. You can save read messages for 4 weeks and unread messages will remain in your inbox for 8 weeks then they will be automatically deleted.

CitySingles.com notifies existing members when a new member joins and their profile matches existing member's CitySingles.com profile.
